How Can You Help?

2005 will see the launch of our new animal adoption scheme. As part of the re-design of our website, we have installed a fully automated on-line adoption system. This new system will allow us to offer a greater range of adoption packages and a faster and more efficient service. By adopting on-line, you will be greatly reducing our administration costs, this will maximise the benefit of your donations. The new system will be 'tiered', offering Bronze, Silver and Gold adoption packages depending on the amount of your donation. Adoption packages start at just £5.00.

Financial support from our visitors is a vital source of revenue for us and without it we would struggle to continue our work. Almost all the animals we care for are severely threatened in the wild. Some of the big cat species we have chosen to protect may well become extinct within our lifetime. The terrible greed of animal traffickers, the insatiable demands of the exotic medicine industry and the desperate poverty affecting the indigenous populations of many of these animal's habitats are just some of the factors that combine to put wild populations in the most severe jeopardy. Against this background, our conservation work is not just worthy, it is now vital and of worldwide importance.

Despite all these factors, we still receive no government support, grants or subsidies. We desperately need the support of our visitors to continue improving the zoo and to safeguard the progress of our conservation programmes in India and Madagascar.

	£5	Available online only. Includes: Certificate.

	£20	Available online & by post. Includes: Bronze certificate, free entry for one year and your name on the bronze supporters board. Available online, in person, by post or by telephone.

	£50	Available online & by post. Includes: Silver certificate, free entry for one year and your name on the silver supporters board, car sticker and mounted picture of adopted animal. Available online, in person, by post or by telephone.

	£100	Available online & by post. Includes: Gold certificate, free entry for one year and your name on the gold supporters board, car sticker and mounted picture of adopted animal, personal tour and VIP invites to Zoo events. Available online, in person, by post or by telephone.

Please remember that animals' lives are sometimes subject to sudden change. Animals may be moved to other Zoos or removed from display.
