We regret that we are unable to allow dogs into the zoo, as they distress our animals. This includes service dogs. Additionally we do not recommend leaving your dog in the car, particularly as our car park has no shady areas.
Directions
We can be found on Yaverland Road, Sandown, right in front of the beach. This is on the SouthEast side of the Island and is easily accessible by road. If using SatNav, our postcode is
PO36 8QB.
If travelling by bus, you'll want to check out the fantastic
Zoo Saver Ticket that gives you free return bus travel from anywhere on the Island.
You can find out about the Island's buses on the
Southern Vectis website, and buses
2,
3 and
8 serve Sandown.
There is also a train route between Ryde and Shanklin that stops in Sandown. From the station there is a walk of 20-30 mins to the zoo.
